ABSTRACT

Objective@#To understand the prevalence of overweight and obesity, dietary habits and main food intake frequency among primary school students in Shenyang, so as to provide a reference for exploring the effect of diet related factors on the development of overweight and obesity in children.@*Methods@#A total of 2 041 students from two primary schools in a certain district of Shenyang were selected by convenience sampling in May 2017, with height and weight measured, meanwhile the questionnaire survey regarding dietary habits and the frequency of main food intake were administered.@*Results@#The rates of overweight and obesity were 18.4% and 22.1% respectively, and the rate of overweight and obesity in boys (21.0%,27.8%) were significantly higher than that in girls (15.8%,16.2%)(χ 2=22.45,53.40,P<0.01). The results of univariate analysis showed that frequency of eating breakfast, eating speed, appetite, picky eaters or not, and the frequency of fruit, seafood and canned food intake were associated with overweight and obesity in primary school students (χ 2=7.67,97.92,229.70,95.88,6.40,6.58,7.96,P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that slow eating speed (OR=0.46, 95%CI=0.29-0.69) and normal eating speed (OR=0.47, 95%CI=0.32-0.69) were associated with lower rates of overweight and obesity; good appetite (OR=43.73, 95%CI=5.88-325.36) was associated with higher rates of overweight and obesity in primary school students (P<0.01).@*Conclusion@#The detection rate of overweight and obesity is relatively high among primary school students in Shenyang, and the rate of obesity is already higher than that of overweight; The frequency of common food intake has little impact on the development of overweight and obesity in primary school students, but fast eating speed and good appetite are the risks of overweight and obesity among them.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the affecting factors of type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM) in children, and to provide reference for the prevention and treatment measures in the future.@*Methods@#A case-control study was carried out among 106 children diagnosed with T1DM in a hospital in Shenyang. At the same time, 106 healthy children were selected as the control group by 1∶1 matching of age, gender and living area. The early life-related factors that may affect the development of T1DM in two groups were investigated by questionnaire.@*Results@#The average age of diagnosis in 106 cases with T1DM was(8.02±3.49) years, girls accounted for 60.4% and boys 39.6%. Multi-factor Logistic regression analysis showed that high family socioeconomic status and higher education of fathers were associated with lower odds of development of T1DM. Family member smoking(OR=2.51, 95%CI=1.19-5.29), family history of diabetes(OR=2.56, 95%CI=1.18-5.55), maternal obesity(OR=5.42, 95%CI=2.49-11.83) and infection during pregnancy(OR=3.45, 95%CI=1.04-11.46) were associated with higher risk of T1DM(P<0.05).@*Conclusion@#The occurrence of T1DM in children is affected by many factors including heredity, maternal health during pregnancy and family economy,highlighting the importance of early life prevention of T1DM.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective    To evaluate the effects of anatomic correction for congenitally corrected transposition of the great arteries (ccTGA) and 10-year follow-up. Methods    From January 2008 to December 2018, 48 patients with ccTGA who underwent anatomic correction were reviewed. There were 29 males and 19 females with age of 39.2 (3-91) months. The cohort was divided into two groups: a biventricular anatomic correction group (39 patients) and a 1.5 ventricular anatomic correction group (9 patients). They were followed for in-hospital mortality, late mortality, long-term survival, freedom from reoperation, and heart function. Results    There were 3 early deaths and 2 early re-intervention in the biventricular anatomic correction group, but no death and only one re-intervention in the 1.5 ventricular anatomic correction group. Compared with the biventricular anatomic correction group, the operation time, tracheal intubation and ICU time were significantly reduced or shortened in the 1.5 ventricular anatomic correction group (P<0.05). The patients were followed up for 0.5-10.4 years. Four patients were lost. Two patients died in the biventricular anatomic correction group, and two patients received re-intervention. The 1-year, 5-year and 10-year survival rate was 88.2%, 84.0%, and 84.0%, respectively. There was no death or intervention in the 1.5 ventricular anatomic correction group. The quality of life of the other patients in the medium-term follow-up was satisfactory. Only 2 patients were classified as grade Ⅲ in cardiac function, and the other patients were classified as grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ. Conclusion    According to the different anatomic characteristics of ccTGA, the individualized strategy of anatomic correction can achieve satisfactory surgical results, and the medium-term quality of life was good. Especially, 1.5 ventricular anatomic correction may obtain better therapeutic effects because of its lower operative mortality and less postoperative complications.

ABSTRACT

@#Objective    To evaluate the effect of off-pump pulmonary valvulotomy for the patients with pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum (PA/IVS). Methods    The clinical data of 61 PA/IVS patients who underwent off-pump right ventricular decompression surgery in our hospital from January 2013 to September 2019 were retrospectively analyzed, including 37 males and 24 females, with an average age of 29.7 (2.0-86.0) d and weight of 4.1 (2.5-6.9) kg. Thirty-nine patients received off-pump pulmonary valvulotomy (an open-view valvulotomy group) and 22 patients received balloon valvuloplasty through the right ventricle pulmonary valve (a hybrid therapy group). The postoperative mortality, early re-intervention, and completion of final operation of the two groups were compared. Results    There were 2 deaths in the study with a mortality rate of 3.3% (2/61), and the mortality rate of the two groups was not significantly different (2.6% vs.4.5%, P=0.68). The rate of early re-intervention in the two groups was 5.3% and 19.0%, respectively (P=0.09). There was no statistical difference in intubation time (56.0±25.9 h vs. 62.0±28.9 h, P=0.41), ICU retention time (4.7±2.9 d vs. 5.5±2.2 d, P=0.23) and postoperative hospital stay time (3.9±0.9 d vs. 4.3±1.1 d, P=0.38) between the two groups. The follow-up time was 45.3 (4.0-84.0) months. There were 5 patients lost to follow-up. During the follow-up period, in the open-view valvulotomy group, 17 patients did not need further operation, 13 patients completed the final operation. In the hybrid therapy group, 7 patients did not need further operation, 8 patients completed the final operation. Heart function classification of all patients was in New York Heart Association class Ⅰ-Ⅱ. Conclusion    Compared with the hybrid therapy, off-pump pulmonary valvulotomy for PA/IVS also has the advantages of simple operation, short operation time and high survival rate, and it may be easier to be promoted in clinical application because of its more economic benefits and relatively lower re-intervention rate.

ABSTRACT

Objective@#To investigate the prevalence and associated factors of eczema in children in order provide reference for the prevention and treatment of eczema.@*Methods@#Two primary schools in a district of Shenyang were randomly selected to conduct a questionnaire survey on 2 240 students in May 2017. Children with eczema need to be diagnosed by a doctor.@*Results@#There were 838 cases of eczema with a reported rate of 37.4%, 38.7% in boys and 36.1% in girls. The age of 6 to 12 months was the peak period of first eczema in children, and the proportion of eczema within 1 year was up to about 70%. Children who have had eczema in the past were now more likely to catch a cold, and the reported rates of allergic rhinitis, asthma and food allergies were also significantly higher. The Logistic regression analysis showed that the mother was unhappy during pregnancy(OR=1.32,95%CI=1.03-1.69), the parents were more educated (OR=1.60, 95%CI=1.19-2.16), and the parents were allergic (OR=1.58,95%CI=1.07-2.33;OR=1.41, 95%CI=1.02-1.94), family history of diabetes(OR=1.95, 95%CI=1.41-2.68), and cesarean(OR=1.33, 95%CI=1.07-1.65) were risk factors of eczema in children.@*Conclusion@#The incidence of children eczema is affected by maternal mood during pregnancy, family factors and delivery mode. It is of practical significance to prevent children eczema in early development for reducing the incidence of other allergic diseases in the future.

ABSTRACT

The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of Mycobacterium vaccae on Jagged 1 and gamma delta T17 (γδT17) cells in asthmatic mice. An asthma mouse model was established through immunization with ovalbumin (OVA). Gamma-secretase inhibitor (DAPT) was used to block the Notch signaling pathway. M. vaccae was used to treat asthma, and related indicators were measured. Blocking Notch signaling inhibited the production of γδT17 cells and secretion of cytokine interleukin (IL)-17, which was accompanied by a decrease in Jagged1 mRNA and protein expression in the treated asthma group compared with the untreated asthma group. Similarly, treatment with M. vaccae inhibited Jagged1 expression and γδT17 cell production, which was associated with decreased airway inflammation and reactivity. The Notch signaling pathway may play a role in the pathogenesis of asthma through the induction of Jagged1 receptor. On the other hand, the inhibitory effect of M. vaccae on Jagged1 receptor in γδT17 cells could be used for the prevention and treatment of asthma.

@#以程序性死亡因子 1(PD-1)及其配体 1(PD-L1)为代表的B7/CD28家族在肿瘤免疫治疗中显示出极大的应用潜力,但仍 有很多PD-L1检测阴性患者无法从中受益。作为B7家族成员,人内源性逆转录病毒-H长末端重复关联蛋白2 (HHLA2)分子结 构与PD-L1等其他B7家族成员有一定的同源性和相似性, 对T细胞有共刺激和共抑制作用,在多数实体肿瘤中呈高表达,且在某 些实体肿瘤中表达比PD-L1更广泛;其通过与受体穿膜和免疫球蛋白结构域2(TMIGD2)结合可促进肿瘤免疫逃逸,导致肿瘤的 进展和转移。基于此,HHLA2/TMIGD2有望成为肿瘤免疫治疗新的通路和靶点之一。本文就HHLA2及其受体TMIGD2的分子 结构、生物学功能及其在实体肿瘤中作用的研究进展作一综述。

@#近年来 DNA修复途径成为癌症治疗的热门靶点, 聚ADP核糖聚合酶[poly(ADP)-ribosepolymerase,PARP]作为DNA修 复的关键酶得到了广泛研究,目前上市的PARP抑制剂(PARP inhibitor,PARPi)药物,在乳腺及卵巢等肿瘤中取得了革命性的突 破。结直肠癌(CRC)具有异质性,其发生与发展是一个多途径、多基因参与及多步骤的过程,其发病率与病死率在中国逐年上 升。研究发现,PARP1与CRC的发生、发展及治疗密切相关,本文从PARP1的分子结构及生物学功能、PARPi的作用机制、PARP1 在CRC组织中的表达情况、PARP1与结直肠癌干细胞的关系、PARPi与CRC治疗的关系等5个方面对PARPi在CRC中作用的研 究进展作一系统综述,为临床治疗CRC寻找新的治疗策略。

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To compare the advantages and disadvantages of emergency percutaneous coronary intervention through the left radial artery with those of emergency percutaneous coronary intervention through the femoral artery. METHODS: A total of 206 patients with acute myocardial infarction who required emergency percutaneous coronary intervention and were admitted to our hospital between January 2011 and August 2013 were divided into the following two groups: a group that underwent percutaneous coronary intervention through the left radial artery and a group that underwent percutaneous coronary intervention through the femoral artery. The times required for angiographic catheter and guiding catheter placement, the success rate of the procedure and the incidence of vascular complications in the two groups were observed. RESULTS: There was no significant difference in catheter placement time or the ultimate success rate of the procedure between the two groups. However, the left radial artery group showed a significantly lower incidence of vascular complications than the femoral artery group (p<0.05). CONCLUSION: Emergency percutaneous coronary intervention through the left radial artery is associated with less vascular complications than emergency percutaneous coronary intervention through the femoral artery and is thus potentially advantageous for patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the clinical effect in the treatment of the young patients(≤45 years old) with acute myocardial infarction(AMI)underwent emergent percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty(PTCA) combined with Lipo-PGE_1.Methods 39 patients with AMI(paroxysm within 12 hours),were underwent emergent PTCA(coronary stem performed in some patients),including 18 cases which were treated combined with Lipo-PGE_1 in the mean time.And the clinical efficacy and the results of short-period follow-up were recorded.Results The in- farctive vasculars were re-open in 37 patients(23 cares were routinely placed translunrinal srents),and the successful rate was 94.9 %.Those who also used Lipo-PGE_1 were re-open in 17 patients.The successful rate was 94.4 %,their ST segments on EKG 30 minutes after operations reduced significantly than that of patients who did not use Lipo- PGE_1,their cardial functions were also improved significantly 24 hours after operations and no side effects on blood pressure and heart rate were observed.Conclusion The emergent PTCA combined with Lipo-PGE_1 for acute my- ocardial infarction can protect the cardial function and show a better early therapy effect.

ABSTRACT

Objective The aim of the study is to approach the clinical significance of the change of ST segments after di- rect percutaneous transcoronary angioplasty(PTCA) combined with Lipo-PGE_1 in treating Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI).Methods The change of the ST segments on EKG of 76 patients with AMI are observed in 30 minutes after un- derwent direct PICA combined with Lipo-PGE_1,and the relations are analyzed that are prospectively to their therapy effect,the degree of injured cardiac muscle,the cardial functions,and the prognosis.Results The patients who treated with the PCTA combined with Lipo-PGE_1 ST segments on EKG 30 minutes after operations reduced significantly,cardiac muscle is injured lowly,their cardial functions are better.Conclusion The change of ST segments after direct percutane- ous transcoronary angioplasty (PTCA) combined with Lipo-PGE_1 in treating acute myocardial infarction is one of the guide line to estimate the perfnsion of cardiac muscle,and to estimate prognosis farther.
